Writers’ subjectivities, self-examination or interaction, learning for writing, content learning, level of writer’s knowledge and instructors grading were the influence factors on participants’ preference for writing tasks. these results mean that researchers and writing educators should consider various elements harmoniously to construct writing tasks and writing education.
