The relationship between college students emotional problems and peer attachment and life satisfaction : Moderate effect of ego resilience

Abstract
The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of emotional problems and peer attachment on college students satisfaction on life according to the degree of ego - resilience. To this end, data of 1,327 students in the first grade of the regional universities in Korea were analyzed. First, we analyzed the correlations between the variables and examined the main variables affecting the life satisfaction of college students. The emotional problems and the peer attachment were verified the moderating effect of ego - resilience on the satisfaction of life. First, there was no significant difference in the emotional problems, peer attachment, ego - resilience and life satisfaction of the college students between the metropolitan and local cities. However, according to gender, emotional problems, peer attachment, ego - There was a significant difference in satisfaction. Second, the analysis of the correlation between emotional problems, peer attachment, and ego - resilience of college students showed that there was a significant negative correlation with emotional problems and satisfaction with life. Peer attachment and ego - There was one static correlation. Based on the correlation of these variables, regression analysis was conducted to examine the effects of emotional problems, peer attachment, and ego - resilience on the satisfaction of college students lives. As a result, emotional problems and peer attachment have a significant effect on the satisfaction of college students It is confirmed that it is going crazy. Finally, analyzing the moderating effects of ego - resilience on the effects of college students emotional problems and peer attachment on their life satisfaction, it is found that the more students use ego - resilience in the situation exposed to emotional problems, And it was found that the satisfaction of life was higher the better the use of ego - resilience was. Based on this, if the ultimate goal of university liberal arts education is to grow the foundation and capacity to live a healthy life, a liberal arts lecture for mental health of college students is needed. Also, it is important that positive relationships with peers, seniors, and professors that college students often encounter as factors that ego - resilience can be promoted by external support and intervention. As the relationship becomes more intimate and intimate, ego - resilience can be enhanced, suggesting that the recognition of the importance of relationships in the curriculum of college students and the acquisition of skills to be effective and efficient are necessary.
