Abstract |
The purpose of the present study is to examine the relationship among colleges students’ learning style, Lecture satisfaction, and academic achievement.
In spite of the fact that differences of learners has influence on academic achievement, there has been little consideration for learning style in satisfaction of teaching.
To answer these question, a survey instrument was provided to 147 respondents who had taken ‘Modern Psychology’ in the first semester of 2017. And 145 responses were included in the final analysis of the study.
The results of the study are as follows.
First, there is a significant difference in the cooperative learning style and satisfaction with teaching according to gender.
Second, the more dependent, cooperative, competitive, and participatory learning style, the higher cooperative learning participation. In addition to, the more avoidant learning style, the lower cooperative learning participation.
Third, the more cooperative learning participation, the higher satisfaction with cooperative class.
Fourth, avoidant learning style, satisfaction with lecture class, and participatory learning style were shown to have significant influence upon academic achievement. |
