Smart age, the change of the college writing education - Focused on ‘the social network service(SNS) writing education’

This thesis premised on understanding of smart age examined how the writing by social network service(SNS) can work in classes based on the utilization of one of the social network services, Facebook. However, this thesis was not a review of the SNS instruction(manual), including Facebook. Today is the multi-platform age such as Youtube/Google, Facebook, Twitters so these main flares of the multi-platform, i.e. the businesses serving functions to offer the space of various online interaction and to deliver, search and save the digital contents in the private and public domains gradually build their position in the fields of the digital content culture and industry. Youtube/Google, Facebook, Twitters are not only the platform of technical sense but also getting settled as one of the platforms in sociocultural and political boundaries and in that respect we need a critical survey on platforms and a discussion on how to use and apply these platforms. But in Korean society, far from the critical survey on platforms, use or utilize of them has not been done properly and only rapidly expanded the base of smartphone and social network service(SNS) College students are the main class. However, social network service(SNS) is not educationally utilized in the college education. This thesis hereby discussed on how this can be utilized in the college writing education. Especially, in this thesis, the professor put emphasis on that if we deal with internet writing, not only the formal aspects or descriptive content but also the mental aim or value of the web 2.0 must be studied, and to do that, we need the effort and attitude that can consolidate the information and knowledge of natural science technology and its subject matter. Also, in this regard, this thesis suggested the process, improvement and actual contents of the education for social network service(SNS) writing education in the writing course.
