The findings of the study showed that vocational high school graduates had difficulties studying English at college classes due to their lack of English knowledge, which led to learning anxiety. Nevertheless, they had the desire of learning English and learning motivation, and expected to get support for English learning method.
This study stems from the attention for vocational high school graduates who haven t had sufficient opportunities for learning English before entering college. This study suggests that providing basic English education programs for those who have been isolated from English education would improve outcomes for English learners through college education.
