Abstract |
In this thesis, the author examined the changes of university that was changed to a new grading system for the purpose of operating efficient academic advising subject. As a part of the investigation method, It aims to show the aspect of achievement of change the way in which grades are given through investigate to self-improvement of Dongguk university studentⅠ of Dongguk university that was changed from P/F to grading system since 1st semester 2016.
According to a recent study on the way in which grades are given of academic advising subject, More colleges are required to complete mandatory seminars on freshmen instruction courses, aslo A 90% of universities give grade for freshmen who attends at the seminar. In case of a university giving grade, Most of the universities operated P/F(77.9%) and relative evaluation(22.1%) in the way in which grades are given of the orientation seminar.
P/F evaluation method that operated in most of universities have a lot of advantages, on the other hand, the disadvantage of hindrance the efficiency of the curriculum can be found in numerous universities. To solve problems related to these grades and lesson selected Dongguk university that was changed to grading system from 1st semester of 2016. And then the opinions of Dongguk university professors and freshmen were compared and anylyzed about the need for achange in the direction of the way in which grades are given As a result new improvements and solutions were proposed and the research was conducted to investigate the efficient operation of the university. |
