A Factor Analysis of Satisfaction of Action Learning-Based General Arts Education

Abstract
The purpose of this study was to analyze the factors that influenced satisfaction of university students who attended the action learning-based general arts education classes and provide implications for operating them. To do so, a questionnaire survey was conducted, and the population was 390 who participated into the action learning-based general arts education classes of J University. The results of the study were as follows: First, the factor analysis brought out the four factors such as teaching methods , teachers and learners willingness , contents , and instruction management and communication skills that affected the students satisfaction in the classes. Regression analysis confirmed that those four independent variables influenced positively the students satisfaction in the classes. Second, only team learning experience out of background variables was statistically significant in comparing the differences of the students perception on the factors that affected satisfaction of the classes. Third, the effect size of students satisfaction in the classes could be lined up teaching methods , teachers and learners willingness , contents , and instruction management and communication skills in order.
