Abstract |
The concept called the East Asia is accompanied with the formation and the swelling of the Europe modern nation system and is a concept established by the correspondence of the East Asia countries for the West. In addition, own country of the China, the Korea, and the Japan- centered East Asia recognition had an influence on it greatly.
In modern times, the Chinese order lost the influence by west world power. In such a process, the relations of the East Asia was already collapsed and the order moved to nationalism, nationalism from order by Confucianism. It was grow up small Chinese awareness and the rise of nationalism to Korea. At the same time, Japan carried out the Meiji Restoration and was admitted into Western central modern international order. After the 1870s began, the Meiji government advocated so-called ‘Asian-rejecting, European-strengthening bonds’ diplomacy that it was escaped from Asia, and to a member of the West European country. As a result, Japan came to have many interests in the formation with China and Korea of relationships, and has begun to show many differences that recognized China before 228 교양교육연구(제5권 제1호)
modern times. Japan adopted a principle of swelling policy as a part of such a policy and led to merger of Ryukyu, the dispatch of troops in Taiwan and came to Kang-whua Island treaty with Korea.
And the outlook on East Asia of Japan developed in the logic such as not only the slight for the Orient but also Japan leader theory, the large Eastern Asia mutual prosperity in the Pacific War period in Asia. The history recognition of such an East Asia was just broken off after all since Japan was defeated in the Pacific War in Asia. As a result, East Asia three countries do history war so as to be obstinate in search of a similar instance in history.
Therefore it must revise the history that the study is distorted in current East Asia, and was suppressed again. To that end, first, we must get over own country-centered history recognition, second, we must make an effort in the composition of history discourse where historic insight through, and last, we must make an effort for theses of the outlook on East Asia for peace and coexistence. |
