A Study on the Necessity and Application of National University College Writing Research

Abstract
This article began by critically reflecting on academic liberal education, which is generally softened, and academia reality that does not carry out even minimal basic research under the name of diversity and autonomy. In particular, this study explored the necessity and application of basic research on college writing, which is almost mandated by all universities, and the academic identity of college writing. Considering the reality of college writing, which varies widely from university to university, the three axes of university writing education goals (① Academic Writing Skills , ② Higher Thinking Skills , ③ Problem Solving Skills ) and University Writing Evaluation in terms of universality It is simplified to two axes (ⓐ Curriculum achievement standard , ⓑ Evaluation criteria achievement standard ). The design of a virtuous cycle of goals and evaluations is a unique goal and necessity of basic research in university writing. As a means of applying basic research on university writing, some implications for developing an evaluation tool that has an urgent need in education are drawn and emphasized. In addition, it proposed a combination of comprehensive and analytical evaluation , development of genre and type, achievement standards at the university level , and use of the liberal arts education institute for each university s solidarity and cooperation.
