Abstract |
In this study, a survey was conducted on satisfaction level and demands of general education courses of foreign students attending D University. The main analysis results are as follows. First, the factors influencing the satisfaction level of the curriculum are not the level of Korean proficiency of foreign students, but the efforts of learners to perform, and the feedback of professors. Second, foreign students found it the most difficult to Presentation & discussion in their course of general education. Third, Technical basic vocabulary and knowledge understanding were chosen the most as the area of the basic knowledge required in the general education curriculum. And in the Korean language field, the most popular choice was expression of Korean(Write, Speech). Fourth, the results on the areas of support for career decision came in the order of various recruitment information for foreign students , strengthening writing skills for work and meeting with senior foreign students who have already succeeded in finding employment . Through this analysis, the study confirmed that foreign students need Korean language courses in order to improve their academic performance required by their academic community. In addition, This study can confirm that foreign students would like to have courses that address the various basic knowledge and understanding of the learning content associated with the major. |
