Abstract |
The purpose of this paper is to explore how to make a critical lesson plan for foreign students at a university. Currently, the number of foreign students in Korean institutions is increasing, but their Korean language proficiency is often insufficient to study university courses. Therefore, it is not easy to find a lesson plan that satisfies the needs of foreign learners who are entering the university without high Korean language ability. In this paper, look into ways to make them easily accessible.
First, it broadens the scope of the text. we have expanded the category to Cultural criticism so that we do not have to analyze difficult literary texts. Therefore, we decided to criticize Yun Dong-joo s life as a writer, his work, and the social influence of the period.
Secondly, the comparison is applied as a description method of writing commentaries. In other words, we used the method of comparing and analyzing between Yun Dong-ju and another artist from their countries who lived a life similar to him.
Lastly, the actual class proceeded slowly, step by step, with one and two writing and feedback time. Then, when the problems and limitations stated in a particular step arose, they were reflected in the next class and rewritten. We cannot guarantee that this class is effective for all foreign students because this case is exclusive to a limited number of classes. However, it is meant as an alternative to the teachers who have experienced the same problems as ourselves, and we hope our work can help them come up with better ideas. |
