Analysis of university students perceptions on the creativity and convergence extra-curricular programs

Abstract
This study focuses on the importance of creativity and convergence competence(CCC) through an analysis of the experience and perception of A university students. In the study, 332 students from A university were asked about the necessity of CCC education, educational experiences , and understanding level and preference in order to provide basic data for developing future programs of a similar focus. Analysis of the data yielded several results. First, 76.2% of the respondents answered that it is necessary to improve the CCC. Second, 30% of respondents answered that they had an experience participating extra-curricular programs. Third, respondents perceptions of their level of understanding and preference of CCC education indicated that they were relatively familiar with creative thinking techniques and the subjects with the highest demand from respondents was 3D printing education .
