Abstract |
This study investigated the relationship between Teaching Methods and Lecture Evaluation in S University. The lectures used in this study were 147 lectures. Frequency analysis, Correlation Analysis, Regression Analysis were used for statistical methods. The results obtained in this study were as follows.
First, in whole general subject, teaching method of Lecture and Practice was most frequently used. Lecture 100% was most preferred in general required subject. Lecture and Practice was most preferred in optional subject.
Second, in question of Lecture Evaluation, each question and entire score was very highly related. So, sectional difference of Lecture Evaluation was not clear. Analysis of 11 questions leaded to 1 factor.
Third, about factor that affects Lecture Evaluation - midterm exam, final exam, attendance, report, etc-higher percentage of attendance, average was higher in course evaluation.
Fourth, satisfaction of optional subject was higher that of required subject.
Fifth, according to Lecture Evaluation that depends on Teaching Methods, class size was smaller Lecture Evaluation average was higher in the more lectures.
To make a better level of general subject course, it needs several ways - Lecture/Lecture& Practice/Read a paper&Discussion and propriety number of class person and it needed more study for question of Lecture Evaluation. |
