Abstract |
As software education, which is the basis of intelligent information technology, became important. Thus universities began to strengthen SW education for non-major students. Yonsei University established a software field in the required Liberal Arts area and opened SW foundation courses, and has a plan to expand SW education in the future. After the first semester of the SW basic course, we did some surveys to students with questionnaires, and their learning effects were analyzed. Because of the nature of Liberal Arts courses, students from various majors take courses together. We want to observe whether there are any peculiarities in the learning and performance. Since students took courses by the choice of subjects according to their needs, the distribution of grades did not lag behind those majors in Science Engineering students in Humanities and Sociology. By having SW basic courses as common curriculum, through the course we plan to observe cumulative analysis of students’ cognitive change and learning performance. |
