Abstract |
This study seeks to explore the case of university liberal arts that university-government cooperative safety education model is applied to in the universities as higher educational institutions. Some teaching models on safety education, that explain which theories and which activities of experience are combined, are asserted to yield participatory safety education based on responsibility and mature civil awareness of individuals and community beyond the practical education. Through this research, concrete teaching methods, that combine the theory and practice about safety education as university liberal arts, and the direction and value of university-government cooperative safety education are investigated. In this research, curriculum of Kyunghee University was analyzed as a case, and the safety education model was examined to consolidate a capability as a citizen and combine the theoretical education and participatory education. |
