A Study on Analysis of the self-management competencies that Jeju University students recognized

Abstract
This study is aimed to analyze the awareness of students self-management competencies and the students satisfaction with the class about self-management and future preparation which is developed and operated by Jeju National University from 2011 to 2014. Through this study, the subjects self-management competencies and its sub-skills of awareness and satisfaction of the students by demographic variables were as follows. First, based on recognition by college, the average of professionalism of Social science college and natural sciences college is higher than other college, and by grade awareness, the average of self-management competencies and all sub-skills of senior was higher than the average of the other grades and was statistically significant. The self-management competencies of male students and the average of emotional self-control skills are higher than girls students by gender awareness, and the emotional self-control skills of students who have not experienced military service in awareness according to whether or not military service is performed. The average was higher than the other students and was statistically significant. Second, by satisfaction among the instructor, class contents, class utilization, and class management, the instructor passion was high in the field of instructors. The classroom environment was high in class contents, the listening was high in class utilization, and the team composition was high in class management in self-management and future preparation . As a result of this study, universities that want to manage classes related to self-management competencies will be able to refer to the design and operation of class by grade and major in connection with the results of students core competencies diagnosis. In addition, it should be noted that the students ability to satisfy the lecture may be a factor in the class management such as the ability of instructor, lecture room environment, listening, and action learning method. This study is meaningful to study about the result of running a class of self-management competencies education introduced when it leads to the curriculum of the university. As a basic research of the core competencies-based university curriculum, it will be possible to refer to universities that intend to introduce self-management competencies into the curriculum in the future, and it will become basic data in the follow-up study of self-management competencies classes is there.
