Abstract |
The purposes of this study were to identify the core elements of insight through the classification of the concept and examine the specific aspects of insightful person required today, thus searching for plans to cultivate insightful person from the perspective of educational paradigm. For those purposes, the study first established the specific aspects of insightful person by identifying the core elements of insight.
Today s modern society asks individuals to do thinking of recognizing the essence behind a good volume of knowledge and information for survival. They thus need insight, which involves the abilities of making constant attempts at challenges and adventures by growing out of the old stereotypes, reorganizing the old connections between knowledge and experience, and creating new values. There is a current need for talents armed with insight based on its core elements. Insightful person are required to have the elements of generalist, specialist, and humanist. The present study looked into the ways of cultivating insightful person from the perspective of educational paradigm based on the idea that monarch, teacher and father are one: first, the monarch or the nation should play the role of creating conditions to allow the students to have intellectual experiences in various fields; secondly, the teacher or the school should promote system reforms for the greater professionalism of teachers; and finally, the father or the family should restore the natural functions of family to guarantee the personality for the relationships of communication and collaboration. It is also required to bring up insightful person so that they will read the spirit of times today accurately, exert wisdom to overcome a crisis situation, and solidify a foundation to fulfill the vision of community development. |
