Abstract |
This research has been investigated about learners’s responses of writing and demands of writing education for 3 years by qualitative research methods and quantitative research met An object study was freshmen in writing classes. The survey result showed that freshman had positively responded of personal writing, whereas they had negatively responded of education writing as assessment to evaluate. But about 94.3%, survey participants are aware of necessary to learn college writing education. It is also important to catch that the writer’s inner emotion is affected by writer’s external factors; teaching method, assignments, evaluation criteria, feedback method of writing, etc. Therefore, it is necessary to re-consist of writing education for achievement of learner-demands, which makes to invoke positive response of leaners who attend writing class of required subject.
This research is accomplished the following achievements. The writer’s internal factors are closely associated with writer’s external factors, and then freshman’s responses are diversity. This research overcomes limits of previous researches to focuss on writer’s internal. Also, this research is raised on necessity at academic community of college writing education. |
