Abstract
The primary purpose of this study is to analyze the special features of undergraduate curriculum in the selected American universities and to draw their implications for developing the liberal studies major programs in the Korean universities. In the paper I discuss the educational philosophy and basic guidelines of the experiential learning and the international internship component in the liberal studies curriculum. As an illustrative case study I present a course proposal of global experiential learning for the curriculum in the College of Liberal Studies, Seoul National University.
