Teaching a Writing Process for Writing Self-Introduction Statement

Abstract

This paper is to introduce a writing process for writing self-introduction statement after studying some earlier works. The process emphasizes prewriting steps which are not only for generating materials for introducing about themselves but also for organizing the materials so that the students are able to find proper material data, find their characters based on the data, and organize the materials into three paragraphs. Due to some expected benefits from the writing process, possibility that students are prepared to be able to write job application letter after exercising the process is discussed. It is easy to learn as well as useful for applying to follow the process for writing self-introduction statement that this paper presents.
