Abstract |
This study aims to look at the communication and collaboration activities that appear in a learning community. Theoretical approach based on Strauss &Clobin (1998), qualitative research methods were utilized. The primary data for the study conducted in Qualitative Research Activities were obtained through students activities observation, students depth interviews, and collaborative learning epilogue that students wrote after community learning.
Through a systematic process of data categorization and data coding (open coding, axial coding, and selective coding) core categories, causal factors, and the final phenomena were derived as a result. Core phenomena of students community learning activities were active communication and collaborative activities between members. Causal factors were passion for solving problems, co-challenges, creative ideas of the team, and the need for collaboration. Students got positive results such as creative problem solving, self-confidence acquisition, and learning the problem solving methods. |
