Abstract
The Purpose of this paper is to suggest an effective method for developing academic writing through Writing Center. Especially this paper tried to analyze examples in Writing Center at Kyungpook National University. at KNU plays an important role in the teaching of college writing since it was held in 2008. at KNU are supposed to help students’ papers, give 1-to-1 tutoring, and educate college students for several presentation contest. This study proposes integrated teaching of Writing and Speaking by the examples at KNU. Integrated teaching of Writing and Speaking might be the new teaching model in writing center. College writing center can give students tutoring system connecting the Writing Curriculum. Therefore college writing center in Korea is required for supporting by national governments or University finance to serve students’ needs and improve the ability of students’ communication.
