Education method to teach Korean culture for Vietnamese students by using Myths - Focusing on the comparison between Korean and Vietnamese Myths

Abstract
Korea and Vietnam have many similarities in terms of geography, race, religion, culture. Indeed, Korea and Vietnam are both the 2 East Asian countries with the same race of Mongolian, under the influence of Buddhism, Confucianism, and Chinese culture. Therefore, the people of the two countries can easily understand each other and have a good relationship. Recently, the cooperation and the exchanges between Korea and Vietnam are strongly increasing, so a the demand for study of history, culture, and politics of the two countries is much more increasing. Therefore, the researchers is studying about the culture, literature...of the two countries. Although there are many similarities, but still limitations on the understanding each other between of the two countries. So the study between the two countries is very important. In this thesis, the study is based on the comparison between their Myths. In fact, there have not had many researches on Myth, especially the culture based on Myth. Therefore, with the thesis based on the comparison between Korean and Vietnamese Myths, the authors try to find out the similarities and differences between the two countries and conclude an efficient education method to teach Korean culture for Vietnamese students. The merits of using Myth in education are that Vietnamese students not only learn Korean language but also understand comprehensively about Korea through the above comparison. This thesis has shown that the value of the Korean culture class for the intermediate Korean learners in Vietnam and found the solution which is combined the culture class and language skill class.
