Abstract |
The purpose of this study is to explore ‘team-based learning (hereafter, TBL)’ and to design an applicable model to ‘speech’ class and its education, and finally to analyze the pedagogical effects and their implications. According to the examination of both domestic and overseas researches concerning the creativity as well as TBL, few studies have focused on these relationships in terms of the speech education. This study was conducted with 140 engineering students and 127 humanities college students at P University. Each team was composed of 5 team members, especially based on the communicative apprehension score and gender, grade respectively.
Findings showed that firstly, there were significant gender and grade differences in team activities competence of college students. However, no difference regarding the creativity personality. Second, there were significant gender and grade differences in communicative apprehension. Third, we found a high correlation among team activities competence, communicative apprehension and creativity personality. Based these findings, it will continue to refine the instructive modules of speech and to verify their validities. |
