A Study on the Meaning of the Philosophical Mentoring as Liberal Education in University

Abstract
The philosophical mentoring which has suggested in this thesis will try to explore a good solution to the problem situations in the basis of philosophical contents and methods through the mentoring about diverse problems. This aims and helps students to try to live a better life through reflecting on their past and present experiences. In this sense will the reasons why we need the philosophical mentoring in liberal education, especially humanities and liberal education be explained. The philosophical mentoring has the meanings of self-reflection, healing, dialectical communication, morality. Through these meanings of the philosophical mentoring we know that its nature and meanings will be realized effectively in the liberal education of university.
