The Effects Analysis of General Arts Class of Core Competencies based on Action Learning

Abstract
The purpose of this study was to analyze the operation effects and satisfaction of general arts class of core competencies through action learning with teaching and learning methods. In order to achieve this objective, students who have taken the ‘Self-Management and Future Preparation’ in first semester 2013 were investigated the self-management skills assessment and class satisfaction. For this study are as follows. First, being saw the collegiate self-management skills assessment, self-management skills was improved in self-directed learning, emotional self-control, goal-oriented planning and organizing, work ethic. Second, the class satisfaction survey were satisfied at individual project, team project, team activities, teaming, assessment methods, teaching methods. This study is significant that the ‘Self-Management and Future Preparation’ of self-management skills class based on action learning effects said. In addition, the use of diagnostic assessment such as collegiate core competencies to the competency-based curriculum as a collegiate teaching and learning methods of action learning new ways to apply the collegiate classes could be.
