What “Practical Writing” is, and what should it be

Abstract
Korean society creates a huge boom in “Writing.” Especially, entrance exam, learning process, and then employment require “practical writing.” The prosperous condition of practical writing has two practical purposes one should write easily and one should learn how to write. Indeed, these propositions are not different from the problem of how to edit. Certification through correction and revision in terms of phenomenological process of writing became actualized by “ABEEK”However, it is true that some problems appear, because of the top-down accommodation of the system.Especially, professors who are the practical subjects, and their ability to write reveal many problems. Therefore, it is necessary to make an effort to develop “engineering writing.”In this way, we need to deal with the writing instruction from the perspective of employment strategy. As we already know, the current employment strategy is mainly concerned with creation of documents and interview. Professors’ educational approach to writing instruction and creating portfolio can generate the essential change in students’ writing. Especially, when both employment strategy and writing instruction can be actualized through the editing in the process of writing and creating documents, the essential meaning of strategy of writing instruction can be generated. From the perspective of employment strategy and the strategy of writing instruction, we need to have writing instructors on the one hand. On the other hand, we need contents and system.
