Abstract
This study is intended to show the detailed curriculum and teaching model of the writing class in the area of university education, focusing on writing based on field work. The field work is interpreted to a methodology of qualitative field research academically. The term is adopted to a broader concept, meaning to all type of work on the ground in this article. Especially this study focuses on a interview and a participant observation including ethnography. The intended purpose is to argue and persuade that it is necessary that the agent of university education has to design a teaching-learning program of writing based on a interview and a participant observation including ethnography. This writing program doesn t mean simple performing of a field work itself. The writing subject might reflect on his identity and social position by meeting another one in social community, has differences from him, through a interview or a participant observation. So he is able to have a new angle on the social problems and to make a writing academically and logically concerning the social problem. The writing is very creative and successful, because of depending on his own view and logic. The program intend to actualize both a writing to learn and a writing to live through writing activity. The program makes writing subjects to seek their own viewpoints of social problems and to criticize the problems on the views. The writing subject can take a writing activity as an opportunity to overcome the limitation of the writing-system immersed in formalization and this program is to reestablish the identity of the writing-education. The most of all, this writing program enables the writing subject to perform care of the self (by Michel Foucault) socially, not privately.
