Abstract |
This thesis intends to show the effect of writing education which is focused on the process, and presents the example of redraft(or rewriting) through the results of survey. The object of this study is the third stages of writing feedback -the upper grades student’s correction of composition, teacher’s man-to-man consultation, and student’s rewriting-which is practiced by mentoring program in Hallym University . The mentoring program was progressed as follows. The recruit of mentor → workshop → mentor’s correction of composition → teacher’s man-to-man consultation → student’s rewriting and survey toward student.
The students replied that the mentoring program helped the check and improvement of themselve’s writings, and wanted the more corrections and consultations. The best satisfied parts are ‘making outline’, ‘rewriting’. Because it is acted and related with the correction and man-to-man consultation.
At next chapter, contents of writing mentor’s workshop and examples of correction about writings is presented. Specially, The teacher’s consultation could supplement and enhance the reliability of correction and the actual consultation was focused on the coherence and clearness of thesis, and construction or paragraph.
This program was the alternate choice which is caused by the absence of specialist about writing program. However, the qualification of mentor and the separation between correction and consultation must be supplemented. It is needed that the workshop for the mentor and student’s positive will about rewriting must be enhanced. |
