Modern Paintings: circular relationship through borrowing and parody-focused on Western paintings which expressed mainly human body since the 20th century

Abstract
This paper is analysis of influence of parody through borrowing on Western paintings focusing on paintings which expressed mainly human body since the 20th century. Through the instances which created circular relationship of creation maintaining mutual relationship with other media, this paper discusses that parody functions as a factor of creation of painting. Also, it intends to prove that image borrowing establishes mutual relation between past and present through studying that human body which was appeared to Western painting before Modernism is reproduced after Post modernism, its significance has changed and established corresponsive relationship with contemporary feel. This paper seeks to study what is the role of the image of human body in contemporary painting which was parodied as a creation of new meaning within intertextuality with contemporary spectators, and review the instances that such paintings were revived by other artists through borrowing in order to prove that borrowing and parody is important factor to circular relationship.
