Demonstrative Writing and Logical Sentence Composition

While writing is a course of communication in which one delivers his/her thoughts, it is sentence that is the basic starting point of delivering thoughts. Thus, the education of sentence composition has crucial significance in the education of writing. The education of sentence composition so far has been focused on the use of accurate sentences on the basis of grammar in the education of writing. However, this cannot be said to sufficient sentence education necessary for writing because sentences in writing don’t exist alone but rather do exist relatively. Thus, the sentence education in the education of writing should pay attention not only to the composition of individual grammatical sentences but also to the composition of logical sentences with the recognition of relations among sentences. Therefore, this paper presents the categories of grammar, arrangement, and cohesion as basic conditions on sentence composition necessary for demonstrative writing, and hence, via a demonstrative analysis, discusses the problems of grammatical sentence writing, systematic arrangement of sentences, and tight cohesion among sentences.
